Cosetta Giorgetti

A professional path as a make-up artist united with a love of Japanese culture – in particular, the aesthetics of Wabi-Sabi (which literally signifies “to accept the beauty of imperfection”) has allowed Cosetta Giorgetti to develop a personal vision of the world of Beauty. Initiating her career in the fashion world in Florence in 1984 with Maurizio Ragazzini, theatrical make-up artist of great talent and creativity from whom she learned the secrets of the art of makeup to then become his personal assistant. In 1989, she moved to Milan, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with international photographers and for the most important magazines in the fashion industry. Beyond the experience on set with hundreds of people and celebrities, her passion for continuous research and knowledge brought her to teach in different international academies, together with experiences such as Beauty Editor for Redmilk Magazine and for Manintown Magazine. For years, she studies the Japanese culture, deepening her knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism and of the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi.

This synthesizes the path of Cosetta: “ In my personal concept of beauty, perfection and imperfection are equivalent, that which renders an individual beautiful is the interior beauty, that is the true concept of a unique aesthetic. The energy of my work through my craft has always been that to inspire, through make-up, the lack of necessity of appearances, to not become homogeneous with the concept of global beauty, of which the beauty and fashion industry are often linked. They are changing the awareness and we will live our beauty through spiritual growth and in the acceptance of time that passes, proud of our lived experiences and care of our aspect like a mirror of a newfound path. A true beauty to wear with personality and harmony. A vegan and always attentive to climate changes and the responsibility of the cosmetic industry, I wanted to realize a line of ethical products, that respect our skin, a mediator between us, the external and our planet. Natural beauty has few rules for definition and belongs to those who choose to follow nature to live and grow old with health and intellectual vivacity.
